˜Dance is a great way to connect emotionally with an audience and other people. There is no greater feeling in the world than moving to a piece of music as it is a powerful medium to express one's values, thoughts, and aspirations about the lives we live'.
To feel the freedom of expression, an Inter-Class Dance Competition was organized for the students of Grade I - III at Prudence School Dwarka 22. The competition aimed to sharpen the dancing skills of the students enabling them to exhibit candidly. Dance expressions of the students were unlimited as they found great ebullience in letting loose and moving their bodies to music in freestyle on a variety of dance forms like Lavani, Ghoomar, Bhangra, Rajasthani, classical, mythological, patriotic and western. The budding participants were extremely exhilarated to be a part of this electrifying event. Dressed in radiant costumes, they twirled, flipped and jumped on the stage to set their feet pulsating and swaying on the rhythm. Participants even made use of interesting props like hats, flowers, sticks, utensils, swords, and frames. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization, and presentation of all the students were astounding. The joviality of the students was evident when the audience applauded as a token of appreciation.
