Assembly & Drill on National Pollution Control Day (Grade Nursery - Prep)
Life on Earth in the form of plants, animals, and humans is directly dependent on the environment for survival. The constantly changing environment affects life on earth. Different types of pollution, natural resources such as water, air, land or forest are being affected speedily. Human actions have a direct impact on the ecosystem and if we do not pay attention to our environment we are putting our existence in great peril.
On this eloquent note, a special assembly on National Pollution Control Day was conducted by the students of Grade Nur-Prep at Prudence School Dwarka 22. The momentousness of assembly was highlighted by presenting a mellifluous melody around the theme that left the audience mesmerized. Praiseworthy performances of students through a theatrical skit conveyed the message of the importance of going green by planting more trees to save Mother Earth. The audience was captivated by the exquisite song ˜Pal Pal Pollution' displaying the ways to control pollution. The dance performance conferred by the students apprised everyone about the hazardous impact of plastic that roused them to do their bit to save the planet. Activity in the form of a game was conducted to instigate the participation of the student audience. Students pledged to ˜Save Mother Earth' by enthusiastically raising slogans, holding placards & conveying the various aspects of pollution along with preventive activities. Their participation with full gusto galvanized others and marked yet another learning to assure limitations for a better future.
