Mathematics is not a language¦ It's an adventure.
Mathematics week is celebrated on December 22nd every year. It is celebrated in order to honour the birth anniversary of the famous mathematician, Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan. He made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems then considered unsolvable.
In order to enlighten the importance and usage of mathematics in our daily life, a morning assembly was conducted by the young mathematicians of Prudence School DW- 22 of Grade IVD and VC on the topic - ˜Mathsmagic - Fun with numbers'.
The assembly aimed at sharing the vital role of numbers in our life, and how Maths can be learnt in a play way method.
The students of Grade VC depicted the famous rule of BODMAS through a skit, giving a moral value that every problem whether its mathematical or related to life has a solution to it.
Last but not the least, there was a dance performance by the talented performers of Grade - IVD who highlighted the theme of the day in a beautiful manner. The efforts of the students were worthy of appreciation.
