Swami Vivekananda has rightly said, "The youth is the best period of life and the way in which one utilizes the time, will decide the coming years that lie ahead".
Remembering Swami Vivekananda, the maker of modern India on his 153rd birth anniversary the students of grade VI A and VIII A presented an assembly on the topic - National Youth Day on 10th January, 2020. The assembly was held with an aim to enlighten the young minds with the philosophies of Swami Vivekananda who was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the western world.
The assembly began with the morning prayer followed by the thought for the day that emphasised on the fact that the future of a nation is defined by the youth population and a country with youth has the best resource to grow.Vanshika Gupta of VIII A, through a poem gave a beautiful message on the way of life and ideals that will make India a better country in the future. The assembly became more captivating and teachers and students were thoroughly inspired by the speech delivered by Bani Kaur Chowdhary of VIII A. In the "Teacher's Talk" segment, students were motivated to be good citizens thus contributing to the development of the country. Last but not the least, our Principal Ma'am through a simple conversation motivated the students to be honest towards their foremost duty of being good and responsible citizens of the country as its development and growth lies on their shoulders.
