“Earth rejoices in our words, breathing, and peaceful steps. Let every breath, every word, and every step make the mother Earth proud of us.” – Amit Ray
April 22nd is celebrated as the Earth Day that aims to stimulate awareness and appreciation of Earth’s environment. It is all about recognizing the uniqueness of our planet Earth with incredible biodiversity. The 50th anniversary of Earth Day was destined to be a worldwide celebration. It still will be — just virtually.
One individual cannot possibly make a difference alone. It is individual efforts, collectively, that makes a noticeable difference. Enthusiastic students of Prudence School, Dwarka 22, involved themselves in various activities to spread awareness and understanding of the essence of 3R’s- Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. They voiced out the uniqueness of our planet and pledged to save Mother Earth to conserve the environment, thus spreading the message of happiness, love, and tranquility. Students created beautiful artworks & self-created videos, utilizing their precious time at home during the lockdown, and pledged for sowing seeds, using paper bags, planting and watering a plant, hugging a tree, no littering & much more. We urge everyone to make a difference, even from their homes, for a greener planet and a safer future with their motivating messages, posters, and speeches.
