"Wheat crop is ready for harvest, time to rejoice and feel nice, Fruits to reap of blood and sweat and get joyous and celebrate life.
Festivals add colour and joy to our life. They break the monotony of our humdrum life.
Baisakhi, a festival celebrated for different reasons by different people. A festival that marks the arrival of harvest season. It is the time when all the hard work of a farmer pays off..similarly, the hard work of our students paid off with a prismatic assembly. Students shared information like which religion celebrates baisakhi and how it is celebrated. They presented an energetic dance performance on punjabi folk songs. The dance performance signified the importance of farms, crops and earth for a farmer. They were dancing to the rhythm of Bhangra and celebrating the golden harvest time.
There was an immense joy and excitement among the students during the assembly.
