On this worthy thought, a training session on ˜Importance of Lifeskills in Teaching Learning Process' was conducted for the teachers at Prudence School Dwarka 22 by Honourable Director Principal Dr. Shreesh Bhardwaj, a man of distinct vision who believes in fostering quality education with a conducive learning environment.
The session laid emphasis on various important domains essential in ones' life. Speaking about ultimate bliss, emotional maturity and connecting with mythological quotes; an aura of peace and calmness was built up in minds of teachers.
Henceforth, the session focused on the vital life skills identified by WHO, the skills that we need to deal with the challenges in everyday life, whether at school, at work or in our personal lives. It included effective communication, interpersonal skills, decision-making, problem-solving, creative & critical thinking, self-awareness, empathy, assertiveness, resilience, and ability to cope with problems which play a key role in emotional intelligence. Teachers were apprised with a productive session through numerous real-life situations that illustrated the skills required to understand problems, find solutions to them, and take appropriate action to address them. These skills empowered teachers in understanding oneself and being able to feel for other people and remain calm.
The session prospered realization of maintaining healthy relationships and positive self-concepts that deals with effective teaching-learning process meeting the demands and challenges of everyday life.
