Rakshabandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond that never diminishes the relationship between a sister and brother who have affection abound strengthening ties that are deep and profound.
On this pious occasion, a special assembly on ˜Rakshabandhan' was conducted by the students of Prudence Dwarka -22. The assembly started with the ˜Gayatri Mantra' followed by the morning prayer, thought of the day and news reading. The program was a colorful blend of song, skit, and dance with the students highlighting the importance of the festival.
The student anchors for the day spoke about the significance of the festival being celebrated to symbolize the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. Students were sensitized towards the valiant sacrifices of our soldiers who safeguard our day and night at the borders proliferating the message of noble deeds reflecting the symbol of peace and harmony for their nation without caring about their sister's sentiments who eagerly wait for their brothers at home through theatrical skit presentation. The golden thread tied on the wrist symbolizes the true affection amongst siblings was well presented through a mesmerizing song. Students fully enjoyed the dramatic dance performance that showcased the mixed feelings of the emotional bond shared between a brother and a sister. Assembly left the magnetizing effect and filled the aura with love.
