PBL Culmination - Out on Road (Nursery)
˜Learning is a process whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experiences.'
David A. Kolb
Interactive teaching is a means of instructing whereby the teachers actively involve the students in their learning process by way of regular teacher-student interaction, student-student interaction, use of audio-visuals, and hands-on demonstrations. The students are constantly encouraged to be active participants. With this objective in mind, students of Grade Nursery at Prudence School Dwarka 22, were taken for a ˜bus ride' in sync with the PBL theme ˜Out on the Road' to observe their immediate surroundings. Students observed different vehicles, helpers, animals they see on the road along with several buildings and their uses like hospitals, banks, metro station, etc. This concrete experience strengthened students' observation skills.
