Assembly on World Food Day (Grade 1 - 3)

World Food Day is a day of action dedicated to tackling global hunger. Held annually on 16th October, people from around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate worldwide hunger from our lifetime. To arouse awareness amongst students, an informative & interactive assembly on World Food Day' was conducted at Prudence School Dwarka 22 by the students of grade I - III.
The ingenious students raised their voice towards shifting to a healthier diet by eating more of seasonal fruits/vegetables and reducing the consumption of junk food through an elucidative presentation on a balanced diet and a skit presentation. Young scholars of Prudence School Dwarka 22 pledged to take a healthier intake with minimum wastage of food. The assembly was addressed by Vice Principal ma'am who shared her motivational & valuable thoughts with students about our responsibilities to eat healthily and show empathy to those who suffer hunger and malnutrition around the world.
