Creating diyas and rangoli is a mode of expression where talent and imagination expatiate itself.
Traditional art forms showcased during the Diwali festival and other celebrations have become an imperative way to teach children how to transform living with diversity. To celebrate the mystical occasion of Diwali filled with the spirit of mirth and love, a rangoli and diya decoration activity was conducted by the students of Grade-Nursery to II.
The students of four houses- Innovators, Creators, Pioneers, and Explorers exhibited their flair in the art by making spunky Rangoli designs using floral motifs to make an eco-friendly rangoli.. The entire corridor was decked with amazing designs by the students. A gleam of diyas was decorated and lit up that brought with all its charms a sense of contentment and happiness on their vibrant faces. The creative expression of art through flower petals and festooning diyas with glitters, mirrors, stars, paints were a feast to the eyes.
A combination of decorative diyas and varied rangoli designs added to the divinity of the festival in its true spirit.
Students rejoiced the activity and merrily took back diyas to light up their home signifying warm welcome to guests and loved ones.
